If you don't find the answer below please contact me.

  • But you are based in the UK and I am not; how can we work together?!

Internet sites such as yousendit.com make it very easy to transfer audio/video files etc. I work from my own studio based in London - hence location is not so much of an issue.

  • I want to license some of your music for use in a media production - how much do you charge?

I generally follow the rates as set by the MCPS production music rate card. Please contact me to discuss further.

  • I would like you to compose some music for an advert/ film/ TV programme or other media. How much do you charge?

This depends entirely on the project so please get in touch.

  • What if I don't like the music you compose for me?

I endeavour to fulfill my clients needs and I will tweak untill you are happy.  If you really don't like it then of course you don't pay and I don't give you the final wavs (Which you pick up from the client area or I deliver on DVD/CD).

  • I am a student filmmaker or I am producing a low budget film - do you compose for little or no remuneration?

Sometimes yes - if I spot potential in the film.  The last film I scored free of charge won some awards so it's got to have spirit.   But if you're genuinely strapped for cash then it's always worth contacting me with details of the film.  However, if you have a budget of any respectable size then I will  not score free of charge.

  • I am a composer -  I like your orchestral sounds, what are they?

All the orchestral compositions in the demo tracks page are midi mockups.  I use a lot of East West software for voices, orchestra and percussion.  A lot of orchestral composers swear by VSL (Vienna Symphonic Library),  but I like the natural reverb that comes with EWQLSO samples;  hence I use  East West.

  • Why are there holes in Brandysnap?
I have no idea.
